We are thrilled to announce that thanks to your donations, we have been able to start building new bathrooms for our school. We believe that access to proper bathroom facilities is important for the health and wellbeing of our students, and we are grateful to our benefactors for making this possible. The new bathrooms are just one more way that we are working to provide not only good education to underprivileged children but also a safe and healthy learning.
Furthermore, the classrooms have also been in dire need of renovation for a long time, but we could not do this without closing the school to do so. Therefore, building new classrooms was a necessary step in order to be able to renovate the existing ones without disrupting the education of our students.
The works started on 28th of January, after the first bricks had been delivered.
The construction of new rooms is an important investment in the education and future of the students who attend the school, as currently there are only four rooms for all the classes, starting from nursery till class 10. The new rooms will provide our students with a more comfortable and conducive learning environment. They offer better protection from the scorching heat in the summer and will be equipped with fans.
A lot of earth had to be moved to allow for a solid foundation for the new building.
After the foundation was built, the masonry work proceeded rapidly. Good reinforcement was ensured in every part of the building.
Following the progress of the construction, new stones were constantly being delivered. The school could stay opened and continue to educate the children while the works were proceeding.
